The weather was just spectacular for this year’s Annual Plant Sale which took place during Gilford’s Old Home Day on Saturday, August 29th. We raised $944 to help us buy a new washing machine for the families to use at our Court Street location. This fundraiser wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from Black Forest Nursery, Moulton Farms, Agway, Petal Pushers and a variety of private gardeners from all over the Lakes Region. Special thanks to Bev Perron for her support and large donation of perennial seedlings. Thank you to both our staff and volunteers for transporting the plants to the event, organizing the plant tables and stands, making sales and new friends!
This fundraiser turned into an unforgettable community event thanks to the amazing people who rolled up their sleeves, sharing their time and energy. It was so fun to see many community members stop by to show us the growth and progress of plants purchased from previous years’ plant sales.
